Delaware Hospice is committed to being the leader in providing high quality hospice and palliative care to individuals with a limited life expectancy, to providing support for their families and caregivers, and to serving the community as a resource for end of life care.
Delaware Hospice is the only nonprofit hospice organization serving the state of Delaware. We also provide services to Southern Chester and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania. Delaware Hospice is staffed with professionals to provide care and emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
Our costs are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, or contributions given by the community. We accept patients regardless of their ability to pay. No one is denied care based on ethnicity, age, sex, mental or physical status, or religion.
Accreditation for hospice organizations is voluntary, but because we believe so strongly in providing the highest quality of care and services to our patients, we have chosen to strive to meet the rigorous standards of the Joint Commission.
