How is Hospice Paid?

Offering the Same High Quality Care Regardless of Ability to Pay

Since 1982, Delaware Hospice has served as the region’s only not-for-profit provider of high quality hospice services. We offer each individual and their family the same dedicated care and access to helpful resources regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical status, religion or ability to pay.

Services provided by Delaware Hospice are funded through Medicare and Medicaid, private insurance, community donations, and private gifts. We’re grateful to the many faith-based organizations, individuals and families whose generosity ensures we continue to respond to the needs of our community, making services available to anyone in need.
