Community Support: Our Most Valuable Asset
As Delaware’s only not-for-profit hospice, Delaware Hospice will never compromise “excellent care” in order to accommodate “the bottom line”. Because our first priority has, and will always be, the care, comfort and well-being of our patients, more than 30,000 individuals and families have turned to us in their time of need. Delaware Hospice depends upon the generosity and goodwill of the families and communities we serve. Many, in fact, are so moved by their experience they, in turn, ask if they may contribute a memorial gift to express their appreciation. Their gifts ensure our ability to help another family in need.
We’re grateful for the continued support of those we’ve served, and we combine their gifts with other fundraising initiatives, volunteer time, corporate support and private insurance to carry out our mission.

$1000: Provides a patient with medication and equipment for a week
$500: Provides a day of care at the Delaware Hospice Center
$100: Provides a family with bereavement counseling
