PRESS RELEASE: August 26, 2010 For Immediate Release
Delaware Hospice holds 6 Week Support Group for Widows/Widowers/Life Partners from Sept 7th in Wilmington
A special six week support group for those whose spouse or life partner has died will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. beginning September 7th through October 12th, at Delaware Hospice’s Wilmington office, 3515 Silverside Rd.
This support group will focus on how the loss of an intimate relationship affects one’s whole life. We will explore the normal grief process, honoring the one who has died, loneliness, establishing a new identity, meeting needs for social contact and support, and finding a “new normal”.
