Delaware Hospice was honored by a visit from Beebe School of Nursing students. The future nurses toured the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford with Delaware Hospice’s Vice President and COO, Dr. Marge White. The students wrote, “We loved the day spent at the hospice center and enjoyed Dr. White’s presentation. We truly appreciated touring and learning about the Center.”

The Delaware Hospice Center opened in April 2008 in Milford and offers a new option of care for patients who are hospice appropriate and suffering from any life-limiting disease, such as heart, lung, or kidney failure, Alzheimers or Parkinson’s disease. The Center is an option for all patients who require this level of specialized care and is not limited to Delaware Hospice patients. The Center offers 24 hour hospice care in a beautiful, home-like setting, when the choice of at-home or in-hospital care isn’t appropriate. Sixteen patient/family suites, formal living rooms, country kitchens, family rooms, and a reflection room provide comfort and space.
