Delaware Hospice welcomes new staff members

Donna Bowers, RN, MDiv, of Milford, as Clinical Staff Educator. Donna served previously as Director of Staff Development at Westminster Village in Dover and has several years experience as a nurse.

Tarajean s. Cornish, MSW, of Salisbury, as a Social Worker. Tarajean earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and has previous hospice experience.

Kaylynn Gland, RN, of Frankford as a Registered Nurse. Kaylynn graduated from Beebe School of Nursing and has experience with a progressive care unit.

Kennisha Holloman, RN, of New Castle as a Triage Nurse. Kennisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware. She has more than ten years of experience in both oncology and medical/surgical nursing.

Jamie Johnson, RN, of Townsend, as a Hospital Liaison. Jamie earned her diploma in Nursing from Beebe School of Nursing and has served as a Registered Nurse at Christiana Care for several years.

Lindsey S. Levis, LCSW, of Lewes, as a Social Worker. Lindsey earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland. She has professional experience as a hematology/oncology social worker for the University of Maryland Medical Center and has volunteer experience with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a support group facilitator.

Sue Lewis, RN, of Felton, as a Registered Nurse. Sue earned her Nursing Degree from Milford Memorial School of Nursing and has more than thirty years nursing experience in doctors’ offices, assisted living facilities, and at Milford Memorial Hospital,

Christine A. Pfeifer, MS, of Lewes, as a Nurse Practitioner. Christine earned her Masters Degree in Public Health Nursing from the University of Maryland. She holds professional certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her experience includes medical surgical, ICU, geriatric psychiatry, and orthopedics.

Ralph P. Plumley, ThM, CT, of Wilmington, as a Bereavement Support Specialist. Ralph earned a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminar and is a Certified Thanatologist. He has nearly twenty years experience as a bereavement counselor and served for several years as a hospital chaplain.

Michele A. Smith, RN, of Newark, as a Registered Nurse. Michele earned her Nursing Degree from Delaware Technical and Community College. She has served in a cardiologist’s office and home care.

Amanda Timmons, BS, of Seaford, as a Social Worker. Amanda has earned her Bachelors in Social Work from Salisbury University and has experience with an Emergency Assistance Program as well as with an elementary school’s guidance counseling program.
