Professional Workshop "The Many Faces of Grief" at the Delaware Hospice Center April 16th

CALENDAR: “The Many Faces of Grief” Professional Workshop will be held at the Family Support Center in Milford on April 16th.
Delaware Hospice’s Family Support Center invites all social workers, mental health counselors, nurses, funeral service staff, chaplains, and all those interested in learning more about grief to attend “The Many Faces of Grief” professional workshop.
“The Many Faces of Grief” will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Delaware Hospice Center’s Community Conference Room, 100 Patriots Way, Milford.
Presenters will include: Sally Packard, LCSW, Dr. Kristin Van Doren, Psy.D., Dr. Judy Pierson, Psy.D., and Ralph Plumley, ThM, CT, and the topics will be: Anticipatory Grief, Adult Grief vs. Child Grief, Complicated Grief, Disenfranchised Grief, and Sudden Death vs. Terminal Illness.
6.0 Continuing Education Hours will be awarded.
The cost of the professional workshop is $99.00 per person/$75.00 student (breakfast and lunch included).
Deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 14th, and space is limited so early registration is recommended.
