Sue Bernetich, Associate Director of Development for Delaware Hospice, receives a check for $2,000 from Gerde Mounts, President of the Dover German American Club, and Elisabeth McGuire.
 
Each year, the Dover German American Club supports local organizations with proceeds from fundraising events, including their signature event--the OktoberFest.   Mrs. Mounts said, “Our members choose Delaware Hospice as one of the recipients every year.  Several families have had a loved one cared for by Delaware Hospice’s team and they have been so grateful and impressed by the organization.” 
 
Sue Bernetich accepted the donation on behalf of Delaware Hospice, “The Dover German American Club’s contributions over the years now total $14,480.  This support means a lot to Delaware Hospice’s patients and families, as it helps us to continue meeting our mission of offering the highest quality of care to the community, as well as outreach programs such as New Hope for grieving children and Transitions for the seriously ill.”
