Interactive Websites
Webhealing
http://www.webhealing.com
Webhealing.com was the internet's first interactive grief web site and
has served the bereaved on the net since 1995. It offers grief
discussion boards where men and women can discuss, (main, child-loss, siblings), issues related to grief and healing or Browse Recommended Grief books. The site's originator Tom Golden LCSW of Washington D.C. is an internationally known psychotherapist, author, and speaker on the topic of healing from loss.
GriefNet
www.griefnet.org
GriefNet.org is an Internet community of persons dealing with grief, death, and major loss. We have almost 50 e-mail support groups
and two web sites. Our integrated approach to on-line grief support
provides help to people working through loss and grief issues of many
kinds. Our companion site, KIDSAID.com, provides a safe environment for kids and their parents to find information and ask questions.
Gift from Within
www.giftfromwithin.org
We started Gift From Within in 1993 with the intention of giving trauma
survivors, their loved ones and supporters a credible online website
that was friendly and supportive. Gift From Within believes that
persons with PTSD and related traumatic stress syndromes deserve the
same respect and support that individuals and families suffering the
impact of cancer, heart disease and stroke receive.
Kidsaid
www.kidsaid.com
Kidsaid.org is a safe place for kids to help each other deal with grief and loss. It's a place to deal with feelings in our e-mail support group, to share and view artwork and stories, and for parents and kids to ask questions and find answers.
