Mimi’s 5K for Delaware Hospice raises $5,000
Mimi’s Run/Walk for Delaware Hospice overall winners, Bill Moss and Stephanie Britton.
Runners and walkers braved the cold and rain and raised more than $5,000 for Delaware Hospice at Mimi’s Run on Saturday, October 7. Undaunted by the bad weather, participants followed the scenic 5K course along the riverfront.
Susan Lloyd, President and C.E.O. of Delaware Hospice, on behalf of the organization, expressed her appreciation to the participants for being there. She added, “I’d like to also thank the Ford family for organizing this annual event each year in honor of their grandmother, Marguerite “Mimi” Ford, to benefit the patients and families of Delaware Hospice.”
Race sponsors of the 2006 Mimi’s Run were The Siegfried Group, Eddie’s Surfside, Pine Mt. Water Co., and BlackRock.
