Presented by Dr. Judy Pierson, Clinical Psychologist, our popular Lunch Bunch Lectures are organized by our Family Support Center and are open to everyone. Seating is limited; please register early. The fee for lunch is $5. Lunch is served at noon. Dr. Gary Chapman developed a questionnaire that helps people identify the ways in which they experience feeling loved and appreciated. He proposed 5 different “Love languages” – Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. What one person experiences as loving may be totally different from another person. Understanding your own and decoding the ways in which your partner or other family members like to have love expressed, takes the guesswork out of making them feel valued. Couples and even friends can learn to meet more effectively each other’s needs. Come take the test and discover your love language.
