The LifeWorks program offers individual grief support to members of the community, including those seeking support and guidance before or following the loss of a loved one, or any life-changing event.

Potential clients may take advantage of consultation by master level therapists, who assess their needs and make recommendations for care.

Therapists help members of the community (families not receiving services from Delaware Hospice) as they seek support and guidance during life’s transitional challenges such as:

  • Grief and trauma due to death by suicide, sudden death, or terminal illness.
  • Life adjustments due to chronic illness, caregiving, diagnosis of serious illness, separation, or divorce.
Follow-up sessions or support groups are recommended accordingly in response to the needs of each individual or family member. The fee for a LifeWorks therapy session is $40.
“Thank you so much for taking care of our father. It allowed our mom to think and reflect on their life together over the last 38 years.”
